In the middle of this Covid-19 pandemic, many have an impact on the pattern of learning in schools and campuses, this of course makes teachers / lecturers have to find a strategy so that the learning material is submitted to students / students. Writing Teaching and learning activities from face to face into a online pattern make teachers / lecturers must find the right media for students / students.
Well, today I learned to use one application that can be accessed by all / some people who are usually called System and Applicatioan Management Open Knowledge (Syam OK). This application launched by Makassar State University in an effort to facilitate the implementation of learning online. This application can be used by lecturers as a medium to convey information / giving lessons to students. So far, this application is quite good for can be accessed by users unless they are less supportive.
In this application there are several accessible courses, one of the listening for Academic. In this course students were introduced and asked to listen to the academic listening texts independently. Hearing there are several stages starting from listening to specific information, drawing conclusions, understanding negative statements and expressions, understanding special expressions, and verbs of phrosa, make conclusions and understanding of the topic. In this course the duty is served in the form of audio.
